1975年４月19日生まれ
愛知県江南市出身/2014年石垣島移住
子どもの頃から絵が好きでよく描いていた
2013年から曼荼羅を描き始める
ペンやアクリル絵具で点描と線を使った技法を得意とする。
ヒーリングの仕事をする傍ら創作活動に励む
現在は島の大自然からインスピレーションを受け、曼荼羅に取り入れた絵を描いている。
曼荼羅の面白さを体験出来るワークショップを島内、東京、他関東、中部地域にて開催。
オリジナル曼荼羅Ｔシャツ、トートバックなどグッズも販売している。

Ai Takabatake
Born in Aichi prefecture in 19th April 1975
Has been living in Ishigaki island since 2014
She's been loved drawing since her childhood,
and drawing Mandala since 2013.
Her favorite techniques are the stippling and the line drawing and painting by ballpoint pens and acrylic paints.
Besides drawing art,she also works as a healing therapist.
She captures the inspiration from Mother nature of the island,
drawing them into the Mandala art.
Furthermore, the Mandala drawing experience workshop is held in Tokyo,Aichi,and more place.
she also sells the original Mandala T-shirts, bags as well.
たとえば、花、野菜の断面、樹の幹の模様、岩のしみ、波紋、
マンホールの蓋、タイヤのホイール、時計など
曼荼羅は決して遠い世界のものなのではなく、
私たちのごく身近なところにあります。
曼荼羅は一つの円に広がる完成された世界です。
じっと見ていると、広がっているようにも集まっているようにも
感じられます。
それは潮の満ち引きのようでもあり、月の満ち欠けのようでもあります。
むすぶこととひらくこと
それはこの大自然であり、私たち一人ひとりの中にもある世界です。
曼荼羅を見て何か体験していただけたら幸いです。

【曼荼羅(マンダラ)とは】
もとはチベットやインドの仏教の世界観を表した宗教画のことを言いますが
現代アートではその概念は幅広く、
「円であるもの、左右対称、法則性のあるもの」を曼荼羅としています。
For example, a flower, cut surface of a vegetable,
pattern of a tree trunk, stain of a clock and suchlike.
Mandala is not something far from our world.
It exists quite near our daily life.
Mandala, it is a consummate world spreading in a circle.
As I stare into that world, it seems like both way of expanding and gathering.
It’s almost like the ebb and flow of tide, and the phases of the moon, as well.
Contraction and expansion
It’s the world of Mother Nature which exist within each of us.
I’m more than happy if you find some experiences through the Mandala Art.

It is originally a ritual symbol that representing universe of India and Tibetan Buddhism.
In modern art, it’s concept is wide, included all things as circular and symmetrical shapes, and a designs with regularity.
